Last updated: 15 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through the SENTINEL website.
The SENTINEL brand and this website are operated by RB Trading (“Seller”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By placing an order through this website, the customer (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agrees to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Italian or European Union law.

2. SCOPE OF THESE TERMS
These Terms apply to products purchased through the SENTINEL website.
A “Consumer” means a natural person purchasing products for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
Consumers benefit from all mandatory protections provided by the Italian Consumer Code and applicable European Union legislation.
If the Customer purchases products for professional or commercial purposes, certain consumer-specific protections may not apply.
3. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
SENTINEL offers survival, outdoor, emergency preparedness, first-aid, water treatment, food ration, camping, and related equipment.
Certain products or optional components may include cutting tools, multi-tools, axes, folding knives, or other equipment that may be subject to specific legal restrictions.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, materials, and other information displayed on the website are accurate.
Minor differences in packaging, colour, appearance, or product presentation may occur where they do not materially affect the essential characteristics or functionality of the product.
Customers are responsible for reading the relevant product information, safety warnings, instructions, and restrictions before use.
4. AGE-RESTRICTED PRODUCTS
Certain products containing blades or other instruments capable of causing injury may only be purchased by persons aged 18 or over where required by applicable law.
Italian Law No. 110 of 18 April 1975, as subsequently amended, including by Decree-Law No. 23 of 24 February 2026 converted with amendments by Law No. 54 of 24 April 2026, imposes restrictions on the sale of certain pointed or cutting instruments to minors.
Where legally required, SENTINEL will use an effective age-verification system before completion of the purchase.
By purchasing an age-restricted product, you confirm that:
you are at least 18 years old;
the information supplied during verification is accurate;
you are legally entitled to purchase and possess the product;
you will comply with all applicable rules concerning possession, transport, carrying, storage, and use.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:
the Customer's age cannot be successfully verified;
the information supplied appears inaccurate or fraudulent;
sale or delivery would violate applicable law;
the product cannot lawfully be supplied to the requested destination.
Providing false information in order to circumvent an age-verification system is strictly prohibited.
5. LEGAL USE OF CUTTING AND TACTICAL TOOLS
Products containing blades, axes, multi-tools, or similar equipment are sold exclusively for lawful purposes, including outdoor activities, camping, survival preparedness, emergency use, collection, work, or practical utility where permitted by law.
The purchase of a product does not automatically grant the right to carry it in public.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable national and local legislation concerning the possession, transport, carrying, and use of such products.
Products must never be used:
unlawfully;
to threaten or intentionally harm another person;
contrary to applicable safety instructions;
for purposes prohibited by law.
SENTINEL shall not be responsible for unlawful, reckless, negligent, or improper use by the Customer or any third party, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. ORDER PROCESS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
Products displayed on the website constitute an invitation to place an order and are subject to availability.
By submitting an order, the Customer makes an offer to purchase the selected products.
After an order is placed, the Customer will normally receive an electronic confirmation.
The sales contract is concluded when the order has been accepted by the Seller, subject to successful payment authorization and, where required, successful age verification.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order before shipment where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:
product unavailability;
payment failure;
suspected fraud;
incorrect pricing or material website errors;
failed age verification;
legal or regulatory restrictions;
inability to deliver to the requested destination.
If payment has already been received for an order that we cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded.
7. PRICES, TAXES AND PAYMENT
Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency indicated at checkout.
Where applicable, prices displayed to Consumers include VAT and other mandatory taxes unless otherwise clearly stated in accordance with applicable law.
Shipping charges and any additional costs will be displayed before the Customer confirms the purchase.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment processing may be performed by independent third-party payment providers. SENTINEL does not necessarily receive or store full payment-card information.
8. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All orders are subject to product availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.
We reserve the right to limit quantities where reasonably necessary, including to prevent fraud, resale abuse, or stock shortages.
9. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Orders are normally processed within the timeframe indicated on the website.
Delivery estimates may vary depending on destination, carrier, customs procedures, weather conditions, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
For Consumers, unless otherwise agreed, products will be delivered without undue delay and within the maximum period required by applicable consumer law.
A delay caused by a carrier does not affect any mandatory rights the Consumer may have against the Seller.
For Consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage generally passes to the Consumer when the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
10. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL – CONSUMERS
Consumers purchasing online generally have the right to withdraw from the sales contract within 14 days without giving any reason, subject to the statutory exceptions described below.
For goods, the withdrawal period normally expires 14 days after the day on which the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must inform us of the decision to withdraw through a clear and unambiguous statement sent to:
The communication must provide sufficient information to identify the Customer and the relevant order.
11. RETURNING PRODUCTS AFTER WITHDRAWAL
After notifying us of withdrawal, the Consumer must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal was communicated, unless we have agreed otherwise.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, the Consumer bears the direct cost of returning the products.
Products should be returned complete and, where reasonably possible, with their original packaging, accessories, instructions, and included components.
The Consumer may inspect and handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
The Consumer may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.
12. REFUNDS FOLLOWING WITHDRAWAL
Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, we will refund payments received from the Consumer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order, as required by applicable law.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until the Consumer provides evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the Customer choosing a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery option are not required to be refunded where permitted by law.
13. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where an exception established by applicable law applies.
This may include, where the relevant legal conditions are satisfied:
goods made to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalized;
goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery;
goods that, after delivery and because of their nature, become inseparably mixed with other goods;
other circumstances expressly excluded by applicable consumer legislation.
Any exception will be applied only where legally permitted.
14. LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
Consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity provided by the Italian Consumer Code.
For new goods, the Seller is generally liable for lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and becoming apparent within two years from delivery, subject to applicable law.
A product must, among other things:
correspond to its description;
possess the agreed characteristics;
be suitable for the purposes for which goods of the same type are normally used;
be supplied with required accessories and instructions;
meet reasonable expectations of quality, durability, functionality, and safety where applicable.
Where a product is not in conformity, the Consumer may be entitled to the remedies provided by law, which may include repair or replacement and, where the statutory conditions are satisfied, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or replaces the Consumer's mandatory legal guarantee rights.
15. PRODUCT SAFETY AND RESPONSIBLE USE
Customers must read and follow all safety warnings, instructions, labels, dosage information, storage requirements, and manufacturer recommendations supplied with the products.
Outdoor, survival, medical, cutting, fire-starting, and emergency equipment may involve inherent risks when used incorrectly.
Customers are responsible for:
using products only for their intended and lawful purposes;
receiving appropriate training where necessary;
inspecting equipment before use;
keeping dangerous equipment away from children and unauthorized persons;
complying with applicable laws and safety requirements.
First-aid and emergency equipment is not a substitute for professional medical assistance.
Water-treatment products must be used strictly in accordance with their specific manufacturer instructions, including dosage, treatment time, water conditions, and expiry information.
Emergency food products must be stored and consumed according to their labeling and manufacturer instructions.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
In particular, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights or remedies relating to:
death or personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
wilful misconduct or gross negligence where applicable;
defective products;
mandatory consumer rights;
the legal guarantee of conformity;
any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SENTINEL and RB Trading shall not be responsible for losses or damage caused exclusively by:
unlawful use of a product;
deliberate misuse;
failure to follow safety instructions;
improper storage or maintenance;
unauthorized modification of a product;
use outside the product's intended purpose;
normal wear and tear;
conduct of the Customer or a third party for which the Seller is not legally responsible.
For Customers acting for business or professional purposes, additional limitations of liability may apply to the extent permitted by law.
17. FORCE MAJEURE AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be liable for failure or delay in performing contractual obligations where such failure or delay results from events genuinely beyond our reasonable control, subject always to mandatory consumer rights.
Such events may include natural disasters, extreme weather, transport disruption, strikes, public authority measures, war, civil unrest, major infrastructure failures, or other comparable events.
Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to inform the Customer and provide any remedies required by applicable law.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, all content available through the SENTINEL website, including:

product photographs;
graphics;

written descriptions;
videos;
website layout;
original promotional material;

Content may not be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used without prior authorization, except where permitted by law.
19. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY
Personal data collected in connection with purchases is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
Where age verification is required, personal data may also be processed for the purpose of complying with legal obligations relating to the sale of age-restricted products.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for additional information.

Please include the relevant order number whenever possible so that we can process your request efficiently.
21. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and the sales contracts entered into through the website are governed by Italian law.
Where the Customer qualifies as a Consumer, this choice of law does not deprive the Consumer of any mandatory protection granted by the law of the country in which the Consumer has their habitual residence where such protection is applicable under European Union private international law.
22. JURISDICTION
For Consumers residing or domiciled in Italy, disputes are subject to the mandatory territorial jurisdiction established by applicable consumer legislation, including the court of the Consumer's place of residence or domicile where required by law.
For Consumers residing elsewhere in the European Union, any mandatory jurisdictional rights available under applicable EU law remain unaffected.
For Customers acting exclusively for business or professional purposes, and where legally permitted, the Court of Trento, Italy, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, products, website, or applicable legislation.
Any updated Terms will apply to future purchases from their stated effective date.
Changes will not retroactively alter the contractual terms applicable to an order already concluded unless required by law or expressly agreed with the Customer.
24. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any invalid provision shall be interpreted or replaced, where legally possible, in a manner that most closely reflects its lawful purpose.
